Welcome to the Bedford High Integrated Preschool Before Care, Extended Day, and After Care Programs! We are excited that you have chosen to join us this year. We are anticipating it will be a year of fun and learning as a springboard either into or extending your child's preschool day.

BEFORE CARE

TEACHER: Ann Basile

HOURS: 7:45 – 8:30 AM

COST: $2839.00/YEAR – 5 DAY ONLY*

MAXIMUM CAPACITY: 5

DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM:

Before Care is offered to students and families who attend the Bedford High Integrated Preschool program. Before Care is 5 mornings each week. It is staffed with one teacher and up to 7 high school students from one of the early childhood development classes on any given day. During your child's time in the Before Care program, they are able to adjust to their preschool classroom, spend some time with a few peers and if needed, have their breakfast. This is a great time for some informal social and language development within a small group of children before their preschool day begins.

EXTRA INFORMATION:

• Please refer to the Bedford High Integrated Preschool handbook regarding our Health and Wellness Policies.
• Please contact the teacher directly if your child will not be coming in on a particular day.
• Before Care is in session when the preschool is in session.
• Before Care is not in session when:
  • school is delayed
  • school is closed due to inclement weather
  • over school and summer vacations

EXTENDED DAY

COST $1736.45/YEAR – 3 DAY*
$2922.50/YEAR – 5 DAY

• Your child is excited to see you at the end of a very long day. There will be a $10 late fee for every 15 minutes after the 2:45 pick up billed at the end of each month.

DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM

Extended Day is offered to students and families who attend the Bedford High Integrated Preschool program. Extended Day has both a 3 and 5-day option for students to attend after their regular preschool time is over. The Extended Day program is staffed with one teacher and up to 7 high school students from one of the early childhood development classes on any given day. The Extended Day program offers a time of enrichment to build and expand upon the materials your child is learning during their preschool day. The Extended Day program provides your child with the opportunity to work in a very small group setting with both peers and staff on concepts, social skill development and gross motor skills. During their time in the Extended Day program, they will be able to eat lunch with their peers and practice mutual turn taking skills. They will also work with high school students from one of the early childhood development classes participating in activities they have planned for them. This is a great opportunity for your child to grow in all developmental areas!

AFTER CARE (based on interest)*

DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM

The After Care program is offered to students and families who attend the Bedford High Integrated Preschool program. After Care is offered 5 afternoons each week as an extension of the Extended Day program. It is staffed with one teacher. During your child's time in the After Care program, they will have time for unstructured playtime.
