The Bedford High Integrated Preschool implements the Guidelines for Preschool Learning Experiences based on the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. These guidelines are a comprehensive guide that covers Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies, Social Emotional Development, Fine Motor, Gross Motor, Arts, etc. All of our activities are developmentally appropriate for preschool aged children. We follow an interdisciplinary thematic approach with units that revolve around the seasons, science topics, special interests, and literature. These topics last between 2 weeks to one month and may rotate each year so students remaining in the preschool program for more than one year will not repeat topics but will have skills and concepts reinforced.
