The Silent Auction has always been a fun, slightly competitive, and beautifully presented part of the BEF Bash, but this year we can add that the Denim and Diamonds Silent Auction was the most successful one yet! We are so grateful to the community partners who donated the amazing items and services that made this possible. Thank you all!!
We will have more to post about the amazing BEF Denim and Diamonds Bash this week, but first we’d like to thank everyone who attended. By coming out to have a great time in support the BEF’s mission to promote creativity and innovation in our schools, you helped us make this the most successful Bash to date! The Bash is only days away, and the excitement is building throughout Bedford! As we get ready to roll out the biggest part of the year that supports our schools, we take a moment to thank the incredible business and community partners that help make the event, and by extension the mission of the BEF, possible. This was a record-breaking year for sponsorship, and we could not be more grateful for the support of both veteran and brand new partners. This is it, Bedford! The BEF Denim and Diamonds Bash is the biggest party of the year that supports our schools, and it’s coming right up on Saturday evening, March 9th! We had so much fun last year at the Café Escadrille that we decided to return to the venue with a new, fun theme. Please read on. This is your chance to help us raise funds to support innovation and creativity in the Bedford Public Schools, you DO NOT want to miss it!
When and where is the event?
The BEF Denim and Diamonds Bash is on Saturday, March 9th, from 7:00-11:00pm and takes place at the Café Escadrille in Burlington. We will be in the main ballroom and lovely parlor area. From Bedford, take exit 51A for US-3/S towards Winchester off of Rt.128 North. The Café Escadrille is located approximately 1/2 mile down on the left. The far parking lot is the one for functions.
How much are tickets and where do I get them?
Tickets are $55 each and can be purchased online on this site: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/4ade113a-81b4-4edb-8a98-30ddc5c4876e through Wednesday, March 6th. You can also purchase a “Deep Pocket Donor” sponsorship if you so choose for $250, which includes two tickets, an event keepsake, and entry into a special raffle at the Bash. If you don’t buy your tickets by the deadline, tickets will be available for $65 at the door, but the deadline for Deep Pocket Donors is THIS SUNDAY, March 3rd.
When should I buy tickets?
NOW! If you are planning on going, we encourage you to buy tickets now if you haven’t already. It will really help us in planning, AND it saves you money!
What should I wear?
Good question! There are no requirements here. We tried to make this one as easy and fun as possible! So, throw on some jeans and be done, or bling it up, or try a combination of anything denim and sparkly! Full disclosure – we didn’t make the theme up, so if you’re feeling creative, you’d be surprised with the number of ideas that come up with a quick Google or amazon search. ANYTHING GOES – it’s just a party! Trust us, a good time will be had by all no matter what you are wearing.
Will I need cash?
The bar accepts cash as well as credit cards. For door tickets, as well as our fabulous Silent Auction, the BEF will accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.
Will there be food?
Yes! We will provide a selection of stationary and passed appetizers throughout the evening.
Will there be music?
Yes! We have once again secured the amazing DJs from Fine Tune Entertainment for the event, so bring your requests! The dance floor will be ready!
Do I have to be a Bedford resident to attend?
No. If you have friends and family who are interested in a fun night out and supporting our schools, bring them along. The more the merrier!
Is this a family event?
No. This event is adults-only.
What are you raising funds for anyway?
Great question! The Bedford Education Foundation, established in 2008, provides grants to support innovation and creativity at all four of Bedford’s Public Schools. To date, we have funded approximately $325,000 in K-12 initiatives. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, so we need YOUR HELP to continue being able to support such wonderful grant programs. Welcome to the 2024 BEF Denim and Diamonds Bash! We can’t wait to share an evening of fun and festivity with our friends and supporters. There will be music, dancing, delicious bites, a cash bar, our amazing silent auction, and more. All proceeds from this event – the biggest party of the year for Bedford’s schools – go towards funding creative and innovative grant programs at all four schools. Individual tickets are $55 through Thursday, 3/7 and will go up at the door to $65.
You can also choose to be a “Deep Pocket Donor” for $250. This ticket level includes two individual tickets, a special memento, and entry into a raffle for one prize exclusive to these donors. The deadline to be a Deep Pocket Donor is Sunday, 3/3. It pays to plan ahead, so get your tickets today!
