Kenneth Whittier
Food Service Director
Ken holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Salem State College, culinary certificates from Northeastern University and ServeSafe certificate from the National Restaurant Association. Ken was appointed Bedford's Food Service Director in September 2006.
Ken has a solid background in the food service industry. His first experience was a cook in a university setting then moved on to cook at Locke-Ober Café in Boston. He has worked as a restaurant manager at Pizzeria Uno in Cambridge and then for 20 years as a manager and director for Creative Gourmets and Sodexho. The last 11 years Ken served as the Food Service Director at Belmont Hill School.
