Ed Pierce

School Committee Member

Ed Pierce was elected to the School Committee in March 2002. Ed and his wife Zoe have been residents of Bedford since 1993. They have four children attending Public Schools. Ed has over seven years of volunteer community service working on an array of School and Municipal programs and issues. The committees he has served on include; The Davis Elementary School Building Committee(1997 - 2000), The School & Municipal Facilities Space Needs I Committee (1996 - 1997), The School & Municipal Space Needs III Committee( 1998), The Davis Elementary School Design Committee (1997), The Town Finance Committee ( 2000 - 2002), The Town Center Design Committee (1999 - 2000), The Town Recreation Commission (1995 - 2000), and St. Michael's Pastoral Center fund raising committee.

Ed received a Masters in Business Administration from Babson College. Professionally, Ed has over twenty years business experience in Senior Management roles.
